This month’s listing of Most Expensive Homes Sold in eastern NC is a cautionary tale of the importance of pricing your home right the first time.
Four of the five properties on our November 2015 list sat on the market over two YEARS (one of them almost three years!)! While I’m sure several factors played a part, the drop from the original list price to the eventual sale price – in one case a $200,000 difference – was big enough that pricing was almost certainly the main sticking point.
The lone property on this month’s list that sold under average market time and pretty darn close to asking price was available for just four DAYS before the lucky buyer snatched it up! Read below for the details.
