Light Up the Waterfront, Beaufort Boardwalk, 5 p.m. Apple cider, hot chocolate, Christmas tree lighting, voting for wreath decorating contest.
2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Band Christmas Concert, 7 p.m., Two Rivers Theater, Cherry Point MCAS. Free and open to the public.
Vintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play, 7:30 p.m., Oriental’s Old Theater. Additional performances scheduled for Saturday, December 5 at 7:30 p.m, and Sunday, December 6 at 3 p.m.
The Games Afoot or Holmes for the Holiday Performance, Presented by the RiverTowne Players, 8 p.m., Masonic Theatre in downtown New Bern.
